Job Interview

I just recently went to a job interview for a serving job and I totally nailed it, however after everything was over with the manager asked me if I had any tattoos. I replied to him that I have a good amount of tattoos, but all of them we clearly covered up with the long sleeve shirt that I was wearing. Unfortunately for me that didn't matter, the only thing that he cared about was that I have tattoos below my elbows. I feel a little cheated and to be quite honest if I can serve our country with tattoos I should be able to get a little part time serving job at where ever.

The military does have a tattoo policy for all those haters and that is nothing below your wrist and nothing on your neck or above, and of course no gang related or racists tattoos.

  1. I agree that people are quick to discrimnation (not sure if that word applies here) against those who do not fit the "status Quo". Personally it doesn't matter to me if a Waitor, Teacher or Preacher has one. If anything it just said they have lived life in any compacity.

And yes, if you can serve your country with Tattoos than why can't you serve food?

  2. Thank you for sharing my empathy and discrimination was definitely the right word for what some people do, especially business'.
