Tattoo equipment
For all of those who have never been in a tattoo parlor, I thought that it would be helpful for those of you to see what a tattoo gun looks like, because I have seen a couple of people change their mind based on just seeing that and the needles. Also it is a law that every tattoo parlor is not allowed to re-use any needles. Some people still believe that they re-use needles, but I promise you that a legit tattoo parlor will never re-use any needles.
Malvern Tattoo artists
I have been to many tattoo artists in my time of exploring the world, and I have finally found my favorite one. If you find yourself in the Malvern area and you want to get yourself a tattoo you should go visit Mike at Main Line tattooing, right off route 30. http://www.mainlinetattooing.com/ that is the website if you wanted to see some of the tattoos that they have performed on other people. Mike by far is the best tattoo artist I have been to. My profile picture is the half sleeve that he did for me. I will be going back to him to finish my whole arm, so for any of you that want to get a tattoo I strongly recommend seeing Mike at Mainline tattooing.

Greenhorns
Getting your first tattoo is a huge deal, especially if you are planning to get more tattoos, because you need to plan out all what you want to do on your arm, back, shoulder, etc. When choosing to get your first tattoo make sure that it is something that you really want. It's completely okay not to have any tattoos, they are not for everyone. Obviously that is not the case for me, but when I got my first tattoo, which is now covered up by another I wasn't thinking at all. I had just turned 17 and got my mother to sign off to allow me to get one. I got a kanji symbol that means dragon, and I'm not going to lie, I got it because I thought it was cool and I was the first one of my friends to get one. If I could go back in time I would take back that one, but all of my other tattoos I am very proud of. Deciding to get a tattoo is a huge deal because they are not cheap, and they will be permanently on your body for the rest of your life. Getting your first tattoo should not be a decision that you make over night, seriously think about what you want to get, and if you really even want to get one. If you choose to get one welcome to the club, and if not good on you for really thinking about it.
Tolerable Pain
Every time I come across a person that does not have any tattoos always asks how much getting a tattoo hurts. Most of the time they are asking me because they are considering getting a tattoo themselves. The best way that I have come to experience what it feels like to get a tattoo is, its like somebody is scratching you when you have a moderately bad sunburn. It is a tolerable pain and some places on your body hurt more than others, but ultimately that's what I believe it feels like, and unless you are getting a really big tattoo you shouldn't worry about it taking longer than one hour. Another thing too that people don't realize you do bleed a little and some people bleed more than others, so if you go make sure that you ate some and you can handle seeing your own blood.

Most meaninful Tattoos
These two tattoos are probably the most meaningful out of all the tattoos on my body. The tattoo on the top is a guardian angel with my sister and mothers name under the angel because both of them are the two most important women in my life, and that tattoo is on my right forearm. The tattoo on the buddy is one of my best friends birthdays. His name is Tyler Bergmann and he was my best friend in the Navy until he committed suicide by hanging himself aboard our ship, the USS Abraham Lincoln; I got a tattoo of his birthday so people will remember how he lived as opposed to when he died.

Job Interview
I just recently went to a job interview for a serving job and I totally nailed it, however after everything was over with the manager asked me if I had any tattoos. I replied to him that I have a good amount of tattoos, but all of them we clearly covered up with the long sleeve shirt that I was wearing. Unfortunately for me that didn't matter, the only thing that he cared about was that I have tattoos below my elbows. I feel a little cheated and to be quite honest if I can serve our country with tattoos I should be able to get a little part time serving job at where ever.
The military does have a tattoo policy for all those haters and that is nothing below your wrist and nothing on your neck or above, and of course no gang related or racists tattoos.

Tattoo Profiling
Tattoos are becoming more and more popular among the newer generations of our time. They are finding new ways to express themselves in our every growing society. However, there are some people that believe tattoos are a waste of time and money, and also believe that they make people look stupid. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but is it truly right to pass judgment on someone just because they have tattoos?
Introduction
I am a 26 year old veteran currently attending school at Immaculata University. I served in the United States Navy for six year, during which time I became fascinated with tattoos. Currently I have one half sleeve and about 13 other tattoos all over my body. I do not however have any tattoos that are below my wrists or above my neck, so I can conceal all of my tattoos with out any problems. I got my very first tattoo when I was 18 years old and I haven't looked back since. All the tattoos on my body have a personal or spiritual meaning to me, I would never put anything permanent on my body that I was going to regret later.
